The Whiskey Snug is a liquor store and tasting lounge located in the back of the Celtic Ranch, the long-standing retail store located in downtown Weston, MO. Situated north of the Kansas City area, we are a 40-minute drive from downtown Kansas City and 20 minutes away from MCI Airport.
Our Whiskey Snug collection began as a table with a dozen Irish whiskies we sampled in the Celtic Ranch, located in Weston, MO since 2004. Our selection expanded into single malt Scotches and Irish liqueurs, and soon enough we ventured into bourbons and ryes and became a full-fledged whiskey lounge. We added an upper level in 2018 and renovated it for expanded seating in 2021, and now we boast one of the widest selections of whiskey in the Midwest.
Accessibility: Guests access the Upper Snug through the spiral staircase. A wide set of stairs is available on the side of the building for those requiring more stability. If you are handicapped or unable to utilize the spiral staircase, please let us know in advance and we will accommodate your visit in the lower level.
Age Requirement: We are a 21+ establishment and require ID verification. Minors are not allowed in the lower or upper levels of the Whiskey Snug, including babies and young children. No exceptions.
Service Animals/Pets: Only service animals are allowed in the Upper Snug tasting lounge. Service pets on leashes are allowed in the lower level. We may ask you to move your pet to the Celtic Ranch store due to limited space in the lower level.
