An Evening of Wine & Whiskey | Saturday, June 27

Discover the fascinating world of wine-finished whiskeys in this unique tasting event! Join Whiskey Snug co-owner, Renz Pros, and wine connoisseur and Vintegrity distributor, Matt Boody, for an evening of sampling select wines alongside whiskeys that have been finished in those same wine barrels, revealing how the cask influences the spirit’s flavor. From cabernet sauvignons to pinot noirs to chardonnays and muscatels and more, the varieties are endless and the tasting notes are limitless!

In this evening’s tasting, you’ll taste three select wines, led by Matt, alongside three bourbons finished in those select wine barrels, led by Renz. You’ll discover the tasting notes of those wines and see how it translates to the finishing product of the bourbons. How do these wine notes complement the notes of the bourbon? Can you pick up the wine notes in that bourbon? Why do some wines impart a darker, fruiter note while others impart a more floral and dessert profile? These are the questions that may come across your mind, and you’ll discover these answers at this unique tasting event! Charcuterie board and light snacks will be offered.
